
Epoxy or Polyepoxide is a thermosetting polymer formed from reaction of an epoxide "resin" with polyamine "Hardener". These systems use a 4:1 by Rvolume mixing ratio, and dry quickly providing a tough, protective coating with excellent hardness.
Their low volatility and water cleanup makes them useful for factory cast iron, cast steel, cast aluminum applications and reduces exposure and flammability issues associated with solvent-borne coatings.
